We are a training, showing, and sales facility with some stalls available for students and their
horses. Our successful collaboration with Scoreboard Sales has brought Ann Gerrard back to Shannondell
as head trainer. We show locally as well as nationally depending on how far along our stock is.
In 2009, Ann rode Shannondell's home bred Milo to the Local Hunter grand championship at Devon, Quentin,
and other Regular Working Hunter championships. In the jumper ring, she has competed with Tessa in the
Level 4's and mini prix. She also produced champions in many classes with our young horses, participating
in hunter and jumper classes, hunter trials, and paper chases. There is always a nice selection of horses

Shannondell Farm is also home to a yearly horse show series that has been in existence since 1979.
We started with a single ring and a few classes for the boarders and students taking lessons. We
have in the past held as many as 8 shows a year with as many as 300 exhibitors a day competeing for
prizes in hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions. Our goal has remained the same throughout the
years - to provide a training ground for horses, ponies and riders of all ages and skills where the
fences are inviting, the footing is good, and the atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable.
